The position is a new one. Nextthink bought the tool a couple years ago- it is a digital experience tool. It creates visibility into how our computers are functioning, so gives reports and assessments of those devices and creates a digital experience score so they can dig in in what is going on in the environment. Go look at one PC and fix it or look at a group of PCs and see what is going on and fix them. This role is going to be someone that monitors and improves the experience for end users across the environment. Use nextthink to identify trend issues and how can they enhance them. Work on the fixes alone, with team members or outside of group to push up satisfaction ratings. This person is out hunting for stuff to fix- opposite of Helpdesk person. Could potentially be a whole another group within the tech organization could bechange how we work with our end users. It will be a challenging, dynamic role, creating this from scratch.

Type of person they are looking for: not your typical engineer or analyst. Must have a mix of technical (experience in the environment, mitigating issues, customer service) you get technology, you know how it works. Have to be comfortable standing out front. Being personable, talk the technology but also talk about whatever with the end user. Needs someone with both.
