As a Product Manager II in the Azure Front Door team, you will work with cross functional teams to shape the future of the product. You will analyze competitive landscape, priotize critical features, define customer/technical requirements and scope to enhance our product offerings. You will work with engineering to ensure we deliver our solutions on-time, with the highest quality, resiliency, telemetry and scalability to effectively deliver demands from the largest Azure customers. You will manage mission critical projects which will define how we route traffic at the rate of millions or requests per second destined across thousands of servers across the globe. Responsibilities

  • You will drive and track success criteria of various features within Azure Front Door product offering. You’ll also partner with others to identify short-term investment opportunities and collaborate with partners to garner support for identified features.

  • You will demonstrate ability to define a feature set and will facilitate usability reviews with customers. You’ll own a portion of the roadmap for a feature group, and will organize scenario walkthroughs to identify problems.

  • You will partner with Product Marketing teams by helping build marketing, roll-out, and customer support plans. You’ll also promote the group of features you worked on and co-present at large events.

  • You will partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses to incrementally improve product development in specific areas. You’ll also begin to manage customer communities and build trust with targeted customers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and proven years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.

  • Proven years of experience delivering complex features from inception to completion.

  • Proven years of experience working with cloud service providers like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform or other large, distributed platforms.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

  • Experience with content delivery networks, load balancers or application security products like WAF, Firewall, DDoS protection.

  • Proficient in communications skills, critical thinking, and hands on troubleshooting capabilities.

  • Comfortable with complexity and ability to generate clarity in a highly ambiguous environment.
