As a Community College / CTE Recruiter for the North America TA Team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our best-in-class recruiting and engagement programs in partnership with community and higher education institutions! Your role will be vital to secure the growth and success of strategic talent programs at Micron.

This role can be based out of our site in Manassas, Virginia (preferred) or Clay, New York and will have on-site reporting expectations.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • The primary focus of this role is to engage with internal and external partners to build a technician pipeline for our workforce and will include engagement with community colleges, CTE programs, technician internships and other related programs

  • Lead the development of programs including project plans, highlight of risks and control of issues for each phase of a project while establishing scope, projected budget and reporting needs

  • Ensure that the cross-functional collaborators involved in recruiting and engagement efforts are efficiently coordinated, and that key decisions, issues and risks are quickly and accurately consolidated to ensure the team can achieve the intended business and community value

  • Partner with internal and external organizations for early enablement, drive early phases of programs to sustainable level and gain support and investment of programs through internal relationships, community relationships and local partners

  • Work collaboratively with other program managers and recruiters within TA, and across the business, to review meaningful metric updates, track business objectives and other performance activities while focusing on continuous improvement

  • Plan and advise schedules as well as resources needed to ensure accurate execution of recruiting events

  • This position's primary focus is project/program management while using recruiting expertise to improve Micron's talent brand and candidate engagement into programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% for recruiting events and partnerships (focus areas include Virginia and Central New York Regions)

  • Travel or event participation outside of normal working hours may be required dependent on involvement in programs

  • Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills and ability to present to groups of up to 200

  • A degree is not required for this role, relevant skills and experience will be considered

  • Past project/tasks that exhibit organization, communication and leadership skills that involve groups and/or organizations.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with traditional and non-traditional career programs (apprentice, mid-career, return to work, certificates, community college, etc.)

  • Experience and knowledge of manufacturing technician workforce needs

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$81,000.00 - $202,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
