Amazon Deals Program Manager, Merch on Demand in Seattle, Washington

Merch on Demand is creating a highly scalable print on demand business for consumer products. We work with content creators and strategic partners across entertainment, music, gaming and consumer products verticals. To support our growth, we are looking for a talented, driven, and highly analytical Program Manager to join the rapidly growing Merch on Demand team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting initiative at Amazon in its early stages.

The primary function of the role will be owning deals and promotions for all of Merch on Demand. You will partner closely with brand partners and internally with Print Ops, Content Ops, and marketing. We are looking for someone to strategically lead the deals and promotions program including planning, execution, analysis, and tech automation to scale up this high value initiative.

This role will work with both external brands and internal stakeholders to keep project flywheels moving forward. The ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task is a must. The successful candidate will be eager to learn and able to work autonomously within a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment. The ideal candidate enjoys rolling up their sleeves, creating and documenting SOPs, identifying paths to scale, and delivering results. They will have a track record of excellent project management skills, and be an effective written and verbal communicator.

Finally, you are also expected to own the deployment, measurement and optimization of these efforts, so a passion for both data and operational excellence is a must. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience with pricing and promotions, marketing, making data-driven decisions, bringing new ideas to market and influencing others.

Responsibilities

  • Own making partner brands successful on Amazon

  • Drive promotions and discoverability strategy

  • Analyze performance results to drive improvements in the program

  • Provide reporting and analysis

Key job responsibilities

Key responsibilities in this role may include: Detail Page and Catalog improvements including A+ content, bulk catalog growth, launching deals and new accounts. Throughout daily tasks, you will be executing and implementing process improvements to streamline operations.

Additional responsibilities in this role include:

• Assisting internal Merch teams (BD, SPM, Marketing, Content Operations) to grow the business

• Identification of opportunities and solutions for automation.

• Representing data and communicating effectively to manage escalations.

• Coordinating with stakeholders to develop and maintain scalable SOPs and comprehensive documentation.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
