The Amazon Private Brands Global Sourcing team is looking for self-driven individuals to join the team. Our Sourcing team mission is to partner with suppliers capable of producing and shipping high-quality and trusted products globally, with a focus on driving profitable and sustainable business growth. This Sourcing Manager will be able to manage the global sourcing business, vendor management and process from A to Z, and his/her strategic focus areas are: 1) cost excellence & negotiations, 2) supplier consolidation & increased utilization, 3) supplier diversification (geographically and capability-wise), and 4) product development, driving speed to market and profitable launches in global marketplaces.

The daily work interaction touches almost every aspect of Amazon worldwide, including regional product management, global product development management, supply chain, program, operations, legal, product compliance, customer service etc. The Sourcing Manager role requires someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done, meanwhile who is able to think big and scale up good practices. Both China domestic and international travel may be necessary.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience

• Experience managing technical products or online services

• Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level

• Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
