Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Thoroughly read and interpret project blueprints, detailing material and labor requirements.

2. Estimate and deliver detailed cost projections, considering all material and labor requirements.

3. Oversee full-scale project management, from inception to completion.

4. Manage and supervise onsite installations, ensuring the project stays within budget and timeline, and is completed to the highest quality.

5. Prepare, submit and manage project contracts, change orders, and other required project documentation.

6. Liaise regularly with external suppliers and contractors, as well as internal stakeholders.

7. Track and report project progress, including cost tracking, and schedule updates.

8. Problem-solve and make critical decisions to ensure project success.

   Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

1. 5+ years of significant professional experience in construction and/or flooring project estimation.

2. High School Diploma/GED with experience accepted.

3. Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams.

4. Proven track record of managing material and labor costs, while maintaining project quality.

5. Exceptional project management and supervisory skills.

6. Strong understanding of construction and/or floor industry processes and operations.

7. Excellent problem-solving, numeracy, and decision-making capabilities.

8. Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

10. Capability to work in a high-paced, dynamic environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Certificates or degrees in Project Management, Construction Management or a related field.

2. Experience in using estimation software.

3. Familiarity with industry-specific health and safety regulations.
