Chenega Corporation Release Train Engineer in Washington, District Of Columbia

Responsibilities
Manage and optimize the flow of value through the Agile Release Train and Solution Train using various tools, such as the Program and Solution Kanbans
Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Planning Intervals (PIs)
Facilitate PI Planning, PI retrospectives, System / Solution Demos, ART sync or Solution Train Sync within a multi-contractor federal portfolio.
Coach Executive leadership, Product Owners and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets, clarifying roles and responsibilities and offering motivation and support, as necessary.
Escalate and track impediments.
Facilitate collaboration, negotiation, and mediation according to SAFe Agile principles.
Establish a constructive working relationship with the Product Owners/managers, Development team, Stakeholders and Sponsors
Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and help them improve.
Qualifications
2+ years as a release train engineer leading scrum of scrum/team of teams/PI planning/etc
Scrum Master background
Hands on SAFe experience
SAFe >= 5.x RTE certification required .
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business management or related field
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Writing meets college Baccalaureate degree standards for English grammar, spelling, and composition.
Ability to prioritize and work on tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a courteous and professional manner.
Knowledge of Federal Contracting a plus
Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
