Charles Schwab Sr Manager, Software Development & Engineering Senior in Westlake, Texas

Duties: Performs advanced development, support and implementation of complex systems using specialized domain knowledge and highly- developed business expertise. Leads large projects and programs with limited oversight. Evaluates business and software industry trends and suggests improvements to processes, products and services. Sets standards to deliver high-quality software products and services. Manages a suite of automated investing products. Delivers high quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative and rapidly changing delivery environment. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $152,700 to $246,800 per year

What you have

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-Bachelor’s related experience.

Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills: Developing web applications in Angular 9 or higher; Microservices architecture; Converting Figma built workflows to HTML5, CSS; Daily usage of delivery pipeline tools (Git, Bitbucket and Bamboo); Improving code quality and security by applying Veracode and sonar scans; Jasmine and Karma for unit testing; and Splunk queries with debugging.
