Duties : Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Develop unit testing and automated QA testing, along with partnership with internal and external domains with a quest to ensure deliverables meet business and technical requirements. Modernize new billing platform, including building integration tooling (DDaX), and integration of the new platform into all aspects of Schwab. Work closely with Business System Analysts to help them identify, define, and document business/technical requirements. Collaborate with team and vendor partners discussing options and enhancement opportunities. Integrate vendor platform into Schwab technical environment, including building and leveraging flat or API feeds. Develop code using leverage Java, Spring, and SQL. Leverage Atlassian suite to integrate, configure, and design complex applications for enterprise wide projects. Work infrastructure services, relational databases, and public and private clouds. Position allows for 100% remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Westlake, TX.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $139,876 to $160,800 per year

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in a related occupation.

Experience must include the following: Analyze technical code, evaluate least cost and risk performance options; Large enterprise (10,000+ employees) to build for scale with risk tolerance, while leveraging public and private clouds; Translate business requirements to technical design; Develop code using Java, Spring, Control M, and SQL; Bamboo, BitBucket, Jira, or Confluence; Support internal or vendor billing applications that includes SunTec, RevPort, or Bonaire; and, Integrate, configure, and design complex applications.
